1956 Type Two Franklin Half Proof in the grade of Proof 68 Cameo

I don't have the reverse image (tails) at hand right now but this is the "obverse" (heads) of a very "high grade" example of a proof coin from a time in proof coinage that due to human error and general "laziness" of mint employees, it's a wonder we have any proof coins at all that reach this high of a grade. For those of you that don't know, the grade scale goes from one to 70 This coin is not only "proof 68" but it also has the contrasting cameo frosted raised areas (devices) and deeply mirrored background fields. Thus it's called a Proof 68 Cameo (cam) and in my opinion should be a grade higher at proof 69 and bordering on a "deep cameo" designation as well. Most of this is "coin jargon" that you, the masses, do not understand. There are very few examples in existence today that have better "eye appeal" than the coin you see pictured here. in addition we are talking about a Franklin half that's 55 years old.
