Can anyone help me identify the silver marker's mark on the back of this fork? It looks like a T or maybe a G in old English script. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for your help. I have looked at this site and many others. Nothing quite like this mark can be found unless I saw it and it didn't register.
could be TC or CT in monogramme . any chance of some more pics of the whole thing ????

Thanks surfdub66! You solved the mystery. It is William B. Durgin Co. The pattern is Watteau made in 1891 in Concord NH. The William B. Durgin Co was incorporated into Gorham but they continued to use this mark.
