Some fine pontiled sodas dug in Savannah. All were dug in out house pit's dating from the 1850's. It seams the demand was high for pure water in Savannah. Just think how water was in those day's. I would say pretty muddy.

You're killin' me! Thanks for posting such awesome bottles and I can share that you are probably the reason for me starting to collect pontil sodas in addition to acls and embossed. You've shown just how gorgeous, and varied, they are. Amazing every time, sizzler.
