I found this cleaning parents basement. I believe it's an early Daimler Chrysler truck hood ornament but can't find anything about it. Any info would help? Thanks

Thanks Phil, that's what I kinda figured thats why I said truck think it sat above tje grill. Am I right that's it's Daimler Chrysler? A friend said it was for a Cadillac deville, told him lost his mind! Hope it isn't?
Wasn't Daimler Chrysler a recent merger? I would look for something much older, e.g. Deere-Clarke or Detroit Cyclecar. Or maybe European.
Not sure but I thought there partners years ago that's what I get from the two hands together meaning they work as 1. I'll keep searching!! I think it might mean dodge bros and Chrysler
Just wondering - was it found in the Washington, D.C. area? - it may be some kind of fraternal organiztion car badge. - Also, how big is it?
It was found in my parents basement, my father worked in the family junk yard in south eastern pa. I'd say it's about 4" in diameter
