In all probability this was designed by Josef Hospodka when he worked for Chribska in the 1950's. This is one of my favourite shapes and comes in many sizes and colour ways.

This colour way, is relatively unusual in having colour in the foot. The pink 'tinge' is only in the foot and if it seems to be elsewhere it's only being reflected, perhaps due to the thickness/shape of the glass. Most commonly the lobed foot is clear and there are one or two colours in the 'body' of the vase or bowl.

This is one of the largest/heaviest of my Chribska pieces.

Just gorgeous Peggy! I always love Chribska (it's probably why I swayed to Japanese glass)
The yellowy green and pink is unusual although from your photos the pink looks like it is in all of the case. I take your word for it just in the base :)

Thank you for taking my word for it, Karen :-) You can see that the pink is also reflected onto the white fabric below the vase. It wasn't a washing disaster!!!

      Love it - in a Sense........LOL....

Meaning Nothing bad FOR your post ( I love it!!! ). It is just that this weekend I moved -- and after GENTLE wrapping, Gentle packing, and Gentle moving ALL MY GLASS here, and Gently unwrapping it to put away again -- I think I am "Glassed-out" at the moment....LOL. Moving Glass is hard work.

So far Glad to report -----> Found No BREAKS yet !!

      ~ Whew ~

Hi antiquerose, I've moved house eleven times and can well imagine that you are 'wrecked' but you will recover, unlike glass. Better you than your precious cargo!

Yikes....Moved 11 times?? Wow that would be lots of glass ( and stuff) to pack.

      I am still unpacking Glass here.....and things......LOL

The shape of both foot and rim isn't right for the Hospodka designs.....:-)
