Another plique a jour enamel restore with U.V. Resin and permanent markers.
Golden metal, rhinestone/paste stones and vitreous enamel sycamore seed/samara art nouveau pin, bought cheap ( and chipped!).
I had to brush the new enamel with a fiberglass brush to get the satin finish required.
Colors are not exact match to the remnants, but it add relief to the design...
I'm proud of my work! (Not humble, lol!)
stunning !
Thank you Mani! Your own restore projects are far more difficult...
Thanks Jewels!
I swear it is very easy! Since I discovered this resin uv hardening very simple to use (no mix, syringe type applicator) I practice on all I can!
Lol! Had superglue splashed in my eye in my beginnings (wanted to remove dried glue from the beak)
now I pour a drop on a card and apply with a tooth pick, then put the stone with jeweller thin pinches...
i'm pretty sure this is a maple samara, not a sycamore fruit. beautiful!
You are right ho2cultcha it is not a fruit, I didn't know english word samara ...
