Finaly, I decided to add one of my "in case of need" bit!
A tiny drop of clear resin prevents the pendant from falling of the "hook".
Now in search for convenient stones to change the paste diamonds :-)

i think that it is a maple leaf samara, not a sycamore. very pretty and interesting too!

Ho2, you're right, I wouldn't have called it fruit, it is a samara! in art nouveau this frequent motif is called sycamore or in French graine d'érable.
