A bird pitcher of La Riojana

This one is the set of the second mate I posted previously

an aquatic bird. This one was the first we bought, and we thought it was a container for wine and a copy of a French majolica pitcher. Something like this one

but in the third picture you can see that the one here has a little hole than the French one so that the water is warm for more time. But sure there is an inspiration in the Onnaing mallard piece.
