I like wooden boxes and picked his one up at a flea market the other day. I didn’t realize it was a cigar box until I turned it over. Does anyone know what kind of cigars were sold in this box? It’s 11”X6”X3”, and there is a key lock on the front. On the inside of the top there is a 9’X51/2” place to put a label or something. Any help would be appreciated.

I buy every one of these I can find at a flea market or yard sale if they are under $10. Most aren't old or even vintage but I turn them over faster than I can buy them. I trace a computer generated image on them and my wife uses a quill tip wood burner to burn the image into the wood. Last one we bought for $3 and sold it in a seven day auction for $71.

Your box is quite new but properly made. Probably a bit more well made than the average cigar box.
