Old Strange Looking 4 Footed Pottery

Hope someone can help me id this item,strange looking old pottery,bowl,4 footed with pottery screws well what I mean is the screws are pottery too with little holes in the bottom,I've never came across a pottery bowl that look so strange oval not round.I would love to know something about this piece,I bought this about 10 years ago.
