This bottle was found in a junkyard her in sweden.
The former owner "reservist H.Behrendt"
Serwed in the german army with 5 comp.84 infanteri regiment,during the first months of ww1.
Herman,Harald,Hakon? Was problaby Danish or norwigian as hi have spelled the words "Fra kriegen"witch meaning in english is "from the war".
Hi partipicate in some battles:
13/8 1914 Flemong
18/8 1914 Tierlemont
23/8 1914 Mons (were the BEF fired there first shoots)
26/8 1914,,,,,?zyr marne
Etc
Some of it i have yet translated
The sides have the words:
"Frankrig england irland" and
"29 Oktober 1914 Templelmore" !
Sometimes in september-oktober hi was taken
Prisoner and sent to the famoes prisoncamp in Ireland.
Later the POWs was moved to England.
It would be great to know what happened to him later,did hi survived the war, or is hi buried somevere in england?
