My grandfather only had a note inside one "Antique 1970 worth $50". I know nothing about this. Just thought it was pretty,

your cream and sugar set is United States Glass Co. #15060 Vermont, c1899. The pattern is considered EAPG (Early American Patten Glass).

It's been a busy couple of weeks & just now getting back to this. Thank you all. I do love these & the color. I love when the sun hits them. I was very curious as to what they were exactly & how old they are,

Last question - are these items that should be in a better place than a high window sill? I don't want my grandchildren doing damage.

Laurie, it is nice to have a complete table set as you do: cream, covered sugar, spoon holder, and covered butter. As long as the shelf is wide enough and you can see them to enjoy, they should be fine there.

WP, I've never seen or heard of original items of Vermont in chocolate, slag, or milk white. The first two are not colors that USGCo. made, and Boyd did make toothpicks in those colors. I can, however, add amber to the list of original colors. Very few pieces are known. I know of a single cream pitcher in the color.
