This is a 1961 (despite the number plate saying 63) MK 2 Jaguar 3.4 litre four speed manual with overdrive full matching numbers in Leyland British Racing Green.
I have added the chrome wire wheels and tied up the body and made it more reliable in the five years I have owned it.
Now that is a Car !!!
Looks good! I am constantly getting bashed about a Jaguar entering our household, and I would agree if it looked like that!
I'm loving that last photo - iconic Australian wire fence, nice brown stubble, country town in the distance, bright blue sky, and lovely Pommy motor in the foreground.
I knew where you resided as soon as I saw it!
Which car show is it at?
Hi
This is getting ready for the Bay to Birdwood in the morning then on route is the first photo. The roadside shot is just outside Birdwood in the Adelaide hills. The drive varies this year about 1000 pre 54 cars last year about 1800 post 54 cars did the 50 mile drive though the metro area and into the hills.
Beautiful jag !!
I grew up riding in these , out of memory they were all green but light greens as my father always had one , I always remember the smell of the leather !!
He had a few over the years and finished up with the Daimler v8 in BRG..
at the moment my bro in law has one of two of the only small rear screen jaguars in the uk .. in original light grey colour with wire wheels ..
awsome cars , yours is a beauty , love it ;-) sd
Amazing, love it!
My dream car!!!
