Makes you wonder who Edyth and Clara were...what lives did they lead...

      Hi there, it sure does...
    3. Vermont, 10 years ago
      Hey jewels,
Can you read Edith's last name? I would certainly search census records...my curiosity has peaked
    4. Jewels Jewels, 10 years ago
Hey, yes, it's Greaser (cool!). Le us know if you find anything
    5. Vermont, 10 years ago
      Absolutely...... :-)
    6. Vermont, 10 years ago
Edith E. Greaser, b. Feb. 28 1893 in Martinsburg, Blair county, Pennsylvania....more to come.....

      Ohhh interesting
    8. Vermont, 10 years ago
Also records for an Elizabeth Edith Weber Greaser, b. Nov 3, 1886-d. July 3, 1963 from Blair county, Pennsylvania...and a Clara M. Haffly Greaser (1854-1934) from Blair county...pretty sure these are the ones! Guessing sister in-laws, their husbands were brothers...super cool!

Oh my thank you Vermont! She does sign the card, your cousin?
    10. Vermont, 10 years ago
I'll try to do a little more digging, maybe we can pin down the connection....ok, cousins not in-laws, got it.

I appreciate the research Vermont--very interesting--they were a little older when they sent this card, how cute
    12. Vermont, 10 years ago
No problem at all...there are a lot of Greaser's in Blair county, the majority of the populous seems to be of Greaser decent from 1880's and on. I hope I do not find any circles in that family tree :-)
    13. Jewels Jewels, 10 years ago
      Hmmm lol
    14. Vermont, 10 years ago
So it seems Clara M. Haffly married George B. Greaser, one of Edith E. Greaser's older cousins...nothing specific about life accomplishments, travels, pictures, etc...still cool to know who they were.

Thank you VV, it's funny on the front, says, "And looking up, a man she spied. Ah, WOW, you startled me, she cried." So funny
