Another item which was in with my late fathers keepsake items. Believe this was also an item which he received while on active duty diring World War ll.
Believe this medal is known as a Church War Cross.

Yep, same as mine - I don't know why they made these out of steel, they tend to be all rusty. - I cleaned mine lightly with vaseline to get off the surface rust. Yours looks to be in better condition.

Aghcollect, thanks for the info. i haven't tried cleaning any of the items I've found. To busy photographing, researching and posting here.
