I came across this pendant in a a box of broken jewellery, I have searched the Internet with only one finding of a lady saying they are very rare. It is believed to be a real cockroach shell it is a blue colour and in Dominican it is known as cueca racha del mar, meaning cockroach of the sea, it is 2&1/4 inches long, has anyone got any information on the history or what it may be worth. That 2nd picture is the only info I can find on the Internet the first picture is the one I have.
