    Not sure exactly what these are called. I do know that once upon a time, my dad had these on his desk at work as well as having one on his desk at home.

    This is also one of the many items which were in a keepsake box, which had belonged to my late father or his Uncle...my Great Uncle.

      Tom hit it on the head. Probably 1940's or 50's. People use an inbox and an outbox now but these worked quite well before computers came along and it was pen and pencil entry.
