Need help finding out what these things are. Found them while cleaning out my grandmothers house. The first one seems to be made of a very thin, light metal. Very pliable. The second is about 2 inches high and it is hollow. The last ones really puzzle me. They have a distinct shape to them. Very rigid. How someone can help solve the mystery..
Hi, the first one is some kind of vintage slicing tool (kitchen? Any markings?), the second looks like an easter taper candle holder (any markings?), and the third is interesting, I don't know, but don't throw them away! =)
The first one does not have any markings at all. The "blade part" is not sharp at all. I think it is made out of aluminum or tin as it is easily twisted. Plus it is not that long, maybe 6 inches.
2nd one makes sense, it could hold a candle but the opening at the top is maybe 3/8 inch. Kinda small for a candle. Also, might be easily tipped when a candle is in it.
The last one is a stumper... Maybe some type of scraper? The end part is very unique with the design of the "fingers".
You know it's funny, we had one of the first item come into the thrift shop where I volunteer, and we didn't know what it sliced exactly, someone walked up to me and asked what it was and I said, "I don't know, but you need it." =) Maybe the second item takes those small, menorah sized candles, and the third one IS something--hopefully someone will recognize for you =)
