Vintage Carved Chinese Cinnabar lacquer Vase-5.5 Inches tall,blue cloisonne inner.As in the tradition of these vases, it is carved all the way around its circumference in a combination of designs, floral, including both the rose and the chrysanthemum, and pastoral landscape, with leaves and trees, in addition to contextual scrolling and geometric patterns.The cinnabar covers a metal vase which is probably brass. The vase is lined with cobalt blue enamel/cloisonné. The base is also covered with the enamel.Perfect condition.Got at local GW.Any comments welcome!
