I recently bought this trunk for decor. After months of looking at it I decided to get motivated and clean it up. I am now curious about it and would like as much info on it. Brand style year etc. thank you
It also has Yale and towne locks. Which date back to the mid 1800s and was top lock back in the day
Now we have to take another drink.
You just don't listen!! I refuse to look again.
I have now fixed the pictures. i am sorry for that!
It is a great trunk. The came backs tend to be more desirable I think but this one is useful because you can but stuff on top like a table. That and it has the insert.
As I always say the real trunk experts will be here soon.
Nice early 1900's flat top trunk. Nice standard type of trunk in its day -- this style made by many companies so without a label hard to know which one. Nice lock which is probably a bit older than the trunk itself. Hope this helps...
This has got to be one of my favorite lithographs, have only seen this picture once before.Look at the detail in the picture, Amazing ,the colors and subject matter are superb.nice find.
I agree with you, drill. Love the lithograph but I have never seen this one before.
