Found this amazingly unique vintage watch. Didnt know the brand but the dial says "Grana" as brand sold at what appears to be German or Swiss retailer " Frere Kerth". The watch looks like new old stock, and came with the original box and warranty dated August, 1945! Watch runs great, high grade Swiss movement. Ive never seen or heard of this manufacturer.
I just had a look for certina grana watches... and found some of them....
I believe the bill says it has been sold at august the 15th in aroso
I believe it's from the 50s...

I think the Certina call is correct. The Certina name was used after 1938.

The first watches were sold under the name " Grana " . Grana was derived from " Granacus " which is the Latin name for Grenchen . Until 1938 watches were manufactured and sold with different brand names. Including the Certina brand . Then it was decided to only the Certina brand to continue to maintain .
