Light metal material. Just a tad of green like rust on the bottom. Measurements are approx 10" in length x 9 1/2" high (including the handle) x 7 1/2" wide. I bought it at a thrift shop today thinking I would put my hand soap bars in it. Any ideas of what it was used for? I was thinking it was used for gathering chicken eggs but I've never seen this before. ????? Would be interested in hearing what you think?
