think its from India,.probably tourist stuff but VERY well done ,..hes only maybe 4 inches tall and 6 inches long and has sooo very much wildly elaborate detail on the beasts on the hunters on their rides,..its a WOW piece,..only flaws are a couple of paint chips on his head,..the tusks are missing( lots are every ones paranoid about ivory even tho newer stuff is using bone or plastic tusks,.but thats why most elephant miniatures end up missing the tusks,..) and the tip of his trunk is missing,..think it makes him even cuter lol,...if anyone knows more please post,..i'm curious bout the lil bugger
thanks Nutsabotas i passed it to the person that collects elephants and she loved it,...gotta love when 5 bucks can get you that much happy from the recipient,..was tempted to keeep it cause of the amazing tiny detail but i thought it better to give to someone who will love it
