Just found these in with some more old things packed away at my grandmothers. Japanese friend said he believed they were from China, the markings ??? Tashiro Made but he said it could be Japanese, they would just say it as ??(kanji). That's about all I could find out about these also, just what he told me the symbols were and what google translate told me.

so do you have any idea of how i can find out about how old they are or are they pretty common or what? i don't want to just keep them laying around on the table if they're old and need to be locked away or something.

Haha thanks? But you didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. And I wasn't asking you to research, I was asking for your opinion or about if you knew where I could find something about the age since you clearly seem to think you're knowledgeable about this sort of thing so didn't know if you knew of resources but obviously you don't and just want to come back with the "I've given you enough, look it up yourself" which is cool, I can deal with ignorance and attitude, no big deal, and thanks anyways.

thanks, again, i've seen that site, the only thing i know from that site was that the shop stopped doing business around 1937 and it continues to talk about eggshell and the markings aren't the same. but its cool, thanks for the help anyways.
