    Went to an estate sale, missed the first day, but still found these little items. A tea strainer? Vintage shakers, spice grinder made in England, and an old nutmeg grinder marked mte co. Thanks for looking!

      Glorious finds! Not only jewellery is adorable...
      I think your little strainer is used to drain boiled milk, to remove the "skin" when you pour it in your bowl (not in use for guests with your silver ware, lol)

      Haha not with that rust! Thanks for letting me know it's intended use. I thought the handle was Bakelite, but maybe not, I'm going to check. Thanks so much kyra!

      Haha! Rust... Not a problem for tea? ;-D
      As I use a similar small modern Plastic mesh one for my milk... No rust, lol!
