This is some of my wife's collection. Her mom had some of these pieces when she was a little girl. That's what got her started collecting these. After I took the pictures I found another 4 pieces that didn't make it into any of the shots. A sugar and creamer and a salt and pepper shaker set... Oh well!
Though I'd send these back up to the top and see if anyone on the site now might like them... Thanks!!

My mom collected roosters and roses and with every grocery purchase she received a different piece. She gave her collection to a dear friend. I was silly and wasn't interested at the time. Now I find myself creating my own collection. Brings back kid hood memories.

I think a lot of us are collecting childhood memories in some fashion or another...
My older brother remembers our mom having a cookie jar in the shape of a Rooster. I don't seem to recollect that piece. Is he hallucinating? I remember her having the round kind with the handle. Ebay has it for sale frequently, but the bids usually go pretty high.
