I obtained this vintage item at a recent auction. It promotes a defunct brewery of Louisville, KY. A new Falls City Brewing Company has developed in Louisville, but as far as I know, it has no connection, except for the name to the original brewery.
This plastic three dimensional item is about 10.5 by 8 inches (26 by 21Cm) in length and height, and looks great either lit up or not. Again, another tribute to the creativity of old time advertising!
Looking at its reverse, I found the following, indicating its inception and execution: "Designed and Created By Embosograph Display Mfg. Co., Chicago, Illinois 60614"
Thank you, Jewels…this is another tribute to my eclectic interests….pretty lame as compared to real art…but that's the way that it goes….
Hi, aghc…..your love of this item is appreciated!
Thank you, v-50!
Thank you, nutsabotas…I don't think that Falls City and Iron City were related. IC still brews in Pittsburgh, but Falls City was from Louisville, and went out a while back.
Thank you, Sean…hoping that all is well with you!
Hi, Dave….thanks for the love….I'm hoping that all is well with you!
