Here is my new girl - she's 24" tall on her inadequate base. She has a broken right arm (her previous owner shaved it like a pencil in order to put on it a plastic arm cut from another doll). Her head has been off or at least broken all round and inappropriatedly glued. The first photos show her in her wedding gown and then nude so the damage can be assessed. I bought a 1970's chalkware lamp yesterday so I could make her a proper (and heavy) base. I named her sylvia (because it's an elegant name and that's how I see her). Today, I chopped the lamp base and will prepare it tomorrow to put it on the mannequin. Once I get her standing up straight - I will begin repairs. More pictures to follow.
