Here's a picture of the lamp I bought this morning to make my bridal mannequin's new base. I've already cut it off and only waiting til morning to put my girl on it and begin the restoration. I found some other old lamp parts to use that will add interest to her base and I think I have some lamp weights in the basement to make the base heavy enough so she will never tip over again.... as I believe that is why she got broken to being with.

I use doll stands with my mannequins even when they have original base just to be safe :-)

I can understand that ... this girl is so heavy - her base needs to be seriously substantial. You appear to have a lot of mini-mannequins ... I've never even seen one before last week-end. Just spotted her at an estate sale and they didn't think much of her - so I got her cheap..... a whole new category I never knew anything about...how exciting! I did some research and don't see any like mine with no legs .... they all have legs! Do you have any with no legs?
