Thanks for several replies but I still do not know what the item is made of..........the detail is quality done........I did do the hot pin test and yes it did melt into a tiny hole..........please is there more help out there on figuring out this mystery, what this snuff bottle is made of??? Thanks Loretta

Probably resin then if it melted into a hole
