Two antique handguns - no idea who was the maker, or it's origin.
I believe they're very good collectables for people who's interested in this kind of art! Hope you guys can help me get more info about this findings!
Percussion box lock pistols.
Both appear to be original percussion and as such would date from about the 1830s- 50s.
This style was made by a myriad of makers-- most that I see are European in origin.
Barrel markings may ID makers location.

I've tried to search the mark on the first gun, but no results at all. Any idea how I could find out more about that mark? Here's the photo of the mark: http://i.imgur.com/Ua8hAyQ.jpg and http://i.imgur.com/6sxvhkt.jpg
How about adding the photo of the marks to this listing?
Just click on edit, add photo and you can put up to 4 total photos on a listing.

Done :D thanks!
very beautiful!!
Those are decorative engraving marks-- nothing to do with the maker.
Look on the top of the barrel near where the hammer strikes.

It's very scratched but I believe the last 3 letters are: ANF or ANE
My guess is Belgie. Really need to know the proof marks to say for certain. Should be on the left rear side of the breeches.
I've been looking with a magnifying glass and its very very difficult to find any marks on any of the guns! The one that already has those decor marks is the only one that might have any mark, but it might be very worn out :S
A bronze brush may help clean the area I mentioned. Don't worry, any bronze marks left will disappear within a week. A piece of the edge of aluminium works well & also disappears within days.
