A friend of mine texted me one day from work and told me she just looked in the register and there were a bunch of old nickels. I said "Buffalo Nickels??" She said "yeah, all of them, $1.50 worth." I told her to send them to me and I would send her something in return, so she did. I picked up a coin folder this weekend. The oldest is a 1920, the newest is a 1937. The ones on the table are duplicates, mostly from 1935, '36 and '37.
Wahoooooo! That chick is steller!
I have a very nice coin collection too But Im not going to list.I love old coins I alwys think what it was at that time.I like the war nickels too.
I nearly have my buffalo collection complete, but that story is great! i only wish i could just randomly find a 1918 over 7 or a 3 legged 1937!
Viking : looks like you need a few to complete your set, check out eBay.The "Buffalo" nickel was minted from 1913 to 1938.Now maybe a excellant time to complete your set the silver market is strong and that seems to be where most are investing in.Have fun, learn what you can before investing too much money.
I have several in plastic too. It's almost complete save fore the first few years.
I have a couple penny books like these, full.
