These images are examples of the remaining architectural examples of Wilkes-Barre.
The lintel is from a bank that has been repurposed into a restaurant and apartments.
Then we we see the cool Art-Deco building of The Polish Union of the USA (Too bad that the tacky plastic sign was added.) At some point, I'd like to enter the building and view the glass mural, which I think depicts a Polish hero.
The next is of a downtown mosaic sidewalk, which looks like Art-Deco to me.
Finally, is seen a non working neon sign from a bar in town. What a creative piece this is! How great it would be to see the neon restored.

I had a friend from Wilkes-Barre growing up.He had an accent different from us guys from Philly.
