Hi guys I need some help I got this off eBay in a group of pins badges etc listed as Boy Scout items but I was thinking it is likely military. Gold in color ribbon bar with Red and Blue also has a smaller little pin attached and appears to be marked on Back USCO 21. I was just curious if this is a military pin bar or something else and what period it's from.

      Two modern era unit citations.

Blue is the Presidential Unit Citation (PUC) and the red is the Meritorius Unit Citation (MUC). Both are awarded to units for COMBAT service, but are worn by current unit members even if they did not serve with the unit when the award was earned.

When displayed remember "wheat grows up" on the gold borders.

Forgot to mention the "oak leaf" signifies a second award of the MUC.
