This lovely bottle is about 8" tall and is part of a set of two. I am not sure what the metal overlay is, but I am wondering if it could be pewter? Unfortunately, I don't know their history, but they may have come from my grandmother's house and might have held bath salts or possibly a fragrant oil? This is only a guess! The bottle pictured has a useable stopper, made of what appears to be lead crystal. Its twin's stopper is unfortunately not willing to budge from the bottle.
