Can anyone help me with the history of this Tool Box?
In WW2, a uncle was KIA at Normany France, 1944abt, His personnel belongings were found in this Union Chest Tool Box, the box layed in storage till 1993, onepened, than was discovered last month.
It is a It is a Union Chest, Made by the Union Steel Chest Corp. LeRoy New York.
Is this a Army issue item?
