This one is a vintage, burnished one with real good character and uniqueness. nicely painted, but when? 60s? 70s? 80s?

Hi Ho2, good to 'see' you! I am thinking this is from the 60's more likely 70's and it looks to me like it could be from Mexico. Look somewhere on the side of it for 'MEX" real tiny and inconspicuous. I've not seen a cat like this but they do those doves and are very similar. Just a guess! :)

Forgot to say, my mom has one of the doves from Mexico and it is not marked but on a trip to Guadalajara in the 70's she brought it back...

      HO2,
Don't know a date, but it is definitely from Mexico. Many pieces of this same Mexican Art come through here in So Cal. Regards, Kirk

Thank you artistinside and shareurpassion! it is a piece of Tonala pottery from Jalisco, Mexico ['Tonalensis means 'from Tonala'].
