Found these at my favorite thrift store. The Sancho print was in a mat, without a frame. The mat was in poor condition, so I removed the print to measure for a new mat. I found the second print of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza together taped to the back.

I am not sure of the method of printing. Under a loop, you can see a very, very fine cross (x) pattern in the ink. The sienna wash was applied to each sheet, either before or after the greyscale printing, as there are smears of sienna on the backs.

The signature looks to be possibly -- La Cruz, then below, Terromolinos, 1977. Would like to learn who the artist is.

    Thank you, Sunnybrook

I only saw the Sancho character when I bought them. He has such a great expression. I did not relate to the Don Quixote novel until I found the second print underneath. Thank you racer4four!

I have to admit, I have not read the novel. I am going to have to do that to truly appreciate the prints. The days are getting shorter..... more reading time!

I may have found it. The name may be Ray Cruz. He was an illustrator. This seem to be the characters for a book titled, "The Knight and the Squire." It is an abridged version on Don Quixote.
