Hi, I am a worry beads collector and recently bought A 1920's butterscotch copal amber from a UK reputable auction house. I have an old amber worry beads we had it in the family for more than 50 yrs and they seem the same to me. Can I send you a photo of both to see how is it possible to differentiate between them if they are real or fake.
Regards, Faisal
Hi Faisal, I saw something awhile back about testing Amber, like salt water float?
Hi Jewels, sorry for the late response I was a way on holiday to Nice-France.
Many thanks for your lovely comment. I have took your advice and tested my beads in a salted water taken from Swansea sea as I only live 10 minutes away by car from the beach. Believe or not both are tested positive and am really happy with the results. Also I have bought a beautiful beads necklace from the weekly antique market in Nice made in Italy for FURLA. I will post the photos soon.
Many thanks to you and to every member.
Kind regards,
Faisal

Hi Julie,
I have added the new photos of Furla necklace, hope you will like them.
Many thanks for your help in solving my first query with amber beads.
Best regards,
Faisal
