Hello collectors. Today I have a leather briefcase that I think is a Presto brand. There is one thing im not sure about it. There is a metal hook looking thing on the inside of the briefcase. An im mot sure what it is used for? Theres no place for the hook on the otherside which makes it even more puzzling. If anyone knows any more info on the briefcase or on what the hook is used for would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and happy looking.

The image is blurry and dark but I believe you are looking at the combination reset switch. The part on the inside should slide left and right, is that correct?

Ill add some better photos but no the metal piece doesnt move. The metal hook is on the inside of the bag at the bottom, and doesnt move at all. I think there is something thats suppose to go there.

Sorry, I thought you were looking at a combination reset switch. I have two armored briefcases that have switched inside to reset the combination. Remembering the combination is my problem.....that is why I have two of them.
