Old Tile (framed) with an oriental scene

Just found this cool piece today - wondered if anyone knows anything about it? Tile measures 17 1/2 x 11 1/8 - - Appears that it has been reframed as there is an edge of discoloration around inside of the current frame (in a straight line in some places)....?..... I have not taken it out of the frame to look at the back side but the paper is ripped and the back of the tile is a smooth glaze finish (unlike wall and floor tiles I've seen before) - any ideas? Thanks!
