    3. StihlCollector StihlCollector, 14 years ago
It was just a general use cardboard sign. Probably from 50's or 60's, very similiar slogan and layout to there famous slogan from the fifties "it will tickle your innards", which is from 50's.
    4. Toyman Toyman, 14 years ago
Yes they used to put them next to there soda stock in the store.Som are valuable.Just like a few mountain dew bottles. Are very rare

Just wanted to let you know about your comment .Jus a general cardboard sign. I seen A sign with family a litte different but very close. With the family is more rare. And very valuable $850 e-bay. Go look yourself. Sometimes its better to look before you say. Im not selling stuff so it does not matter.People need to do there research if they are going to sell. Not always listen to what people say. Thanks

yea your right about that toyman some people will tell you anything
    7. StihlCollector StihlCollector, 14 years ago
Yea, when I say general, I mean general USE, has nothing to do with how common or rarity. But you will probably delete my post anyway, as you always do. I did look and am very familiar with soda advertising. You asked for information and I gave it to you. as far as e-bay goes you cannot go by everything that is on e-bay, because there is a lot reproductions, fakes, fantasy, ect.
    8. Toyman Toyman, 14 years ago
Thank you and No Im not going to delite anything. And I do thank you.Ireallly do. Nobody knows everything thats for sure. And e-bay will give you an idea what people will pay.People use it all the time for that. Thanks again stihlcollector

No problem! Your are welcome. I said in previous post it was PROBABLY from 50 or 60's, I do not no for sure. I do know Mountain Dew started using "it will tickle your innards" in the 50's.

It getting hot out there. I think its time for a mountain dew?
    15. MtnDewManiac, 13 years ago
I hate to be the one to tell you, but your sign is a fake or "fantasy" item. There have been a LOT of these dumped on the market recently, with wild tales of "being found in an old Pepsi plant" etc. If it were real, it would have printed in the lower left corner 02-MD-22. Value of genuine (really rare) sign is $1500. This was one of 3 "jump" signs with the difference being the number of "cousins" being jumped! The original of this sign was made in Canada in 1968 during the Pepsi Hillbilly era. Sorry.

Always glad to see Willy the hillbilly, Sal and I think Clem was the name of the other fella.
