When we bought this base to one of the Cein brothers in Córdoba I hardly could believe this beauty was in our house. It is really a museum piece. It stands more than 30 cm high. I could not find anything similar in the web. I was not able to take a picture of the whole piece, so the second is the upper continuity of the first picture, the third the signature and the fourth other interesting characters of this bacchanal. The quality of the “sculptures” (look at the wine being pour) the painting, make me think it is soft paste. no more words, enjoy it. 1830-1850?
Thanks vetraio and Manikin, your loves were immediate....with the velocity of light

It the most funny piece of art we have. Thanks again, Yes, I think it is old and sure it was made for the Italian market, about 1830 before Italian unification
finally I found one very similar, mine is bigger but from the insight looks identical with the garland in the top included.
