This Trunk was given to me by a older woman who had no family left she told me it was used by her mother to come to the United States after World War 1 to be with her father. I was just wondering if anyone new who made it.

Unfortunately there were many companies at the time making this style and type of trunk so without a label it is extremely difficult to know which one made this one. Certain high end trunk makers have more distinguishable features. Still a lovely dome top trunk made around 1890's with cast iron latches -- nice gift.

Yeah, I would buy the old lady a beer. Well, maybe a new enema rig or something!

      Hello August62,
I do know what the trunk you have or had is a Yale and Town. It was made in samford Conn. Not sure on the date. Hope that helps

Correction -- the Yale and Town is the lock company and most likely not where the trunk was made -- most all trunk-makers bought their locks from suppliers.
