    Here is a second post of a bentwood box made in Europe. I took closer pics of the nails and fasteners. Hope this helps date the piece!

      Interesting fasteners in the first two pictures. If you look closely I believe you will find that is actually a very old type staple and not a bent over nail. One shank was long and the other short. The shorter shank locked it while the longer shank went into the joining material. These type of boxes and fasteners were also made in Norway.
