I bought this at a thrift store about 20 years ago, one of my favorites. There are places where the picture is starting to crack, and Id like to educate myself a bit before taking it in to be repaired. Its an 8x10 and on the back there is a sticker that says bambino John W. Graham & co. Art Dept. Spokane, Wash.
This looks like a photo of one of many ceramic plaques on the building exterior of Hospital of the Innocents in Florence Italy. The artist Andrea della Robbia designed it. The plaques are supposed to represent the orphans left behind at the orphanage.
