We bought this beatiful vase to Martin Cerda last week. I saw it two month ago but, though the design was beatiful the price looked high for a piece signed by an unknown artist. I looked for something similar on the web but I could not find neither Tocarelli nor the blank. The style is similar to some designs of Gio Ponti (Italia) or Lino Enea Spilimbergo (Argentina), during the first quarter of the XX century influenced by the post cubists. It cost us almost 50 U$ and is about 25 cm high. The bisque is very light and white, in some parts the scarfs of the two part mold are visible.
stunning!!!!
