Here's a rare Liberty & Co gold pendant by Archibald Knox. I don't think you'll see one of these in captivity anywhere else. Last time I saw one in the wild was in Miller's Art Nouveau & Art Deco Buyers Guide in 1995 (p355).
Unless I'm sorely mistaken Knox has loosely modeled this on the Egyptian sacred scarab symbol. If you concede that's true, then I hope you'll agree that he's drawn inspiration from an octopus for the gold pendant with the opal (courtesy Tadema Gallery) and from a squid for the silver and enamel brooch (courtesy Van Den Bosch).
Wonder if there are any other Knox critters out there?
Let's see if this prompts some discoveries!
