Old Korean paintings purchased from a soldier after the Korean war

I acquired these paintings from a gentleman who said his friend who was a soldier purchased these in Korea after the Korean war. One features 3 hunters on horseback hunting deer/fowl and the other is perhaps a philosopher who appears to be in deep thought with some writing on the top left. Seems to be an acrylic type of paint on a primitive canvas

I would love to know if anyone has seen something similar to these I'm curious how rare these are and most of all I would love to know what the writing says I have been staring at these for a long time pondering it's meaning.
