I love my art deco era gazelle which looks a lot like the style of Haeger pottery, however, I can't make out the makers mark scrawled on the bottom. I would love feedback on identifying the maker. I have googled "gazelle pottery " images and have not come across one like this. This stands about 15 inches high from base to horn tip.
Thanks so much
Jenny
not to get too technical, but i think that this is actually a 'gemsbok', rather than a gazelle.
Thank you for the clarification! Somewhere in the deep recesses of my brain the name Gemsbok rings a bell. Thanks again for the info,
Jenny
